As first responders, we understand how stress affects our lives and health.  Join us in our journey of healing.

Our Mission in Yoga

We created Soaring Phoenix Yoga and Wellness after years of reaping the rewards of a yoga practice.  Everyone should have an opportunity to feel good.  Our desire is to help others on their journey toward mental and physical health.

 

 Many people think yoga is only for flexibility but the benefits are much greater than just muscle length.  A yoga practice will make you stronger and more flexible while improving your mindfulness.   

 

You might be wondering what "mindfulness" means and why you should care.  Mindfulness is the state of being aware of and connected with the world.  Coping with chronic stress and traumatic experiences can cause a disconnection that can leave us feeling numb or empty as our brains work to protect us from what we cannot process.  Mindfulness practices like yoga, which combine awareness with movement, are an important step on the path to overall health as we learn how to reduce stress. 

 

This path to healing is not ours to walk alone.  Please join us.
